The Hawthorne's is here primarily to serve people in our community their families and friends and surrounding villages because there are so many that do not wish to leave the area and the thought of a institutionalised home a horror story.
We can offer a day care facility if needed in an emergency and if we have the space and a driver free, those on their own who would like to join us for lunch are more than welcome, a phone call is all it takes. Our aim is to keep those that stay with us happy and contented knowing that they will have numerous visitors with lots of news on what's going on in the village and surrounding area that they love and cherish.
We are so lucky to have the support of our Doctors surgery and extend our thanks to them, the nurses, dispensary and administration staff for all they do, without them, the support from the families of people staying here and the dedication of all that work at The Hawthorne's it would not exist.
We gauge our success on the feed back given by those who come to stay with us whether permanently or on holiday. Paramount to all else those who stay with us are extremely happy.
